CORE COMMERCIAL
Heavy Duty Gravel Stabiliser for Commercial traffic in Public Spaces
Developed for use in high-traffic commercial and public spaces, such as car parks, access roads or caravan parks. Core Commercial gravel stabiliser grids allow for free drainage, keeping your carpark, access roads or other heavily trafficked areas free of standing water and eliminating flooding. The cleverly designed, reinforced HDPE cell walls allow the grids to take the weight of a 40 tonne vehicle.

Core Commercial grids are heavy duty membranes for gravel and can create a fully SuDS compliant build up or a low cost, free draining area for traffic. Long lasting and durable, the Core Commercial ground stabiliser grid system is perfect for landscaping your public parking areas, helping to keep the area mud-free and welcoming for your visitors and staff. They are easy to maintain, are environmentally friendly and is SuDs compliant when installed correctly.
HOW TO INSTALL CORE COMMERCIAL GROUND STABILISER GRIDS
Core Commercial grids measure 1130mm x 780mm and utilise our patented QuickLock™ clipping mechanism to allow you to easily lay 500m² + per day.
QuickLock™ is exactly what it sounds like – a very quick, locking system that allows contractors to simply lock the grids together in one quick motion, reducing the strain on contractors’ backs and bodies – which is why Core Commercial is often described as the ‘contractors choice’ of porous pavers. No tools are needed to complete the installation – the grids interlock together, minimising the risk of the panels separating after intensive use.
Because Core Commercial grids are so efficient to install, and come in a large sheet size the installation time is greatly reduced – even for large areas, such as car parks – especially when compared to other porous pavers available on the market.
HOW TO MAINTAIN CORE COMMERCIAL GRAVEL STABILISER GRIDS
Core Commercial grids are purposefully designed to be low maintenance. That said, like anything that gets heavily used by the public, some maintenance should be expected.
One of the advantages of Core Commercial gravel stabiliser grids is that the grid is designed to be filled level with the cell wall – this greatly reduces the need for maintenance as the requirement of surface dressing to redistribute the gravel is virtually eliminated. You can of course, ‘overfill’ the cells to make the area more aesthetically pleasing (hiding the grids under the gravel), and take on the task of surface dressing regularly to maintain the area.
Although there is no specified suggested speed limit for Core Commercial grids, we do recommend that you adopt a maximum speed limit of 5 mph for your Core Commercial laid area, as although the speed isn’t a problem, braking sharply might be. A skidding vehicle could potentially damage the grid, so adopting a maximum speed limit for the area is prudent to help maintain the area. Also, a speed limit is a good safety measure for your visitors, regardless of the material your car park is made from.
